My Philosophy
After having worked for a long time as a consulting psychologist towards improving the mental health of clinically diagnosed individuals, my perspective changed as I realised the great potential in the belief that ‘prevention is better than cure.’ So Anaahat came into being. I wanted to work with the masses who lead a normal, urban lifestyle and typically face challenges in 3 areas of life, namely, health, relationships, and finances. The urban population displays borderline symptoms and adjustment issues as a consequence of coping up with these challenges. At Anaahat, my aim is to provide intervention exactly at this point in time when individuals are trying to cope. To help them overcome situations in a healthy manner rather than letting it grow into a clinical disorder or physical disease.
Anaahat’s philosophy is to equip people with healthy coping strategies so that they know how to face the situation in the future with more confidence
What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.
